824 MB (unzipped) - This script contains comments from at least 42 different commentators. The script also contains 500 different events that will trigger over 7,150 sounds.

• 109 Pre Shot events = over 1,680 wavs.


• 190 In Flight events = over 2,440 wavs.


• 86 Reaction events = over 1,430 wavs.


• 4 Impact events = 32 wavs.


• 30 Pre Post events = over 260 wavs.


• 81 Post events = over 1,290 wavs.

This script was created using L2001 and has been converted to work properly with L2003.

Please note - When playing against an AI, you might notice that some Pre-Shot comments may overlap with In Flight commentary. The reason being, the AI animation may start his/her swing (which cannot be controlled) before the Pre-Shot comment has concluded and the In Flight comment could start before the Pre Shot comment has ended. Unfortunately this is how the Sound Editor was programmed.
Also, even though most all Events have been created to play 100% of the time, you may not hear comments before, during, or after hitting a shot. This can be accounted for the following reasons:

#1 In some cases (Primarily Pre-Shot) Events might be set-up to play less than 100%.

#2 In Flight and Reaction Event commentary may still be playing when the ball has stopped, thereby no Pre-Post or Post comment will be heard.

#3 The terrain created by the course designer may not match the terrain used in the Sound Editor. (Example: Course designer may have designated non-fairway as "tall grass" while the Sound Editor may have a designation as "rough" . Therefore, no sound will be heard.)

These situations may occur infrequently but it will happen depending on the circumstance.

Enjoy the script and hopefully, due to the size of the script, you will not hear the same comments too frequently.

#1...Download tks2006
#2...Extract the "tks2006.ssf" file to your main Links 2003 Directory. (DO NOT place this file in the Linksnd folder!...Place in the main Links directory.)
#3...Go into the game.
#4...Click on "Options"
#5...Click on "Sound Settings"
#6...Click on the arrow under "Main Sound Script for Normal Play" and highlight tks2006
#7...Click "OK"
