172MB (unzipped) - This script has been a labor of love, and is something I've worked on and off for the last two years. While I realize there is still work to do, I have upgraded my PC sound system and experimented with ripping re-mastered audio from Stooge DVD's and the sound quality is now very above average. Depending on whether Links 2005 (if there is one) has a soundscript editor I may redo this script in full, robust stereo (ala the Hackmaster 2003 script), but that is in the future. [What a great segue, as I'd like to thank Hackmaster. His original script was what I opened and built upon for this Stooges script. I've added and tweaked the event triggers, and made it 2003 friendly ... but his script was my inspiration to try, and my training ground. Thank you very much sir.] I've actually loosened the event triggers liberally, to throw as many Stooge sounds at you as I could. You will get a sound on almost every event and virtually every new rendering. There are some long-playing wavs, but these have been kept to pre-shot events from the tee, or putt setup. Normally you have to take some time at those places in the game anyway. And even though I've edited every sound, the recording quality in the 30's and 40's is obviously not as good as today ... and some of these sounds reflect that. I also left in the original background noises (ie; cars, train whistles, animals, etc.), as I think this adds an ambience that I as a Three Stooges fan love. Given the quality of the audio I used, and the rapid fire dialog, it may not be to everyone's liking. But if you too are a Three Stooges fan, the sounds will make you laugh many times every round.

It has been over 30 years since the Three Stooges ended their long-running act, yet today they are still as popular as ever. There are Stooge festivals on television and even in theaters to this day. The annual Three Stooges Convention in Philadelphia gets bigger and bigger every year. Without a doubt, the Three Stooges are the greatest comedy team in the history of Hollywood, and hopefully, each new generation will discover the Stooges and their magic, so that their memory and their work will remain alive forever. The Three Stooges truly were, and still are today, "The Godfathers of Comedy"!
