Pre-Defined Soundscripts

Alternatives to the standard preset sounds in Links2003
These are NOT an "addon" soundscript
These are for changing ONLY the predefined.ssf file for Links2003
NOT for use with PowerStroke or Real Time Swing

Links2003 triggers standard club/cup/ball sounds from a specific soundscript called the predefined.ssf. Any replacement script MUST be named predefined.ssf so there is no way to distinguish one predefined.ssf file from another just by name. This also means that any wav that is being used to 'replace' a standard wav MUST be named exactly as the file it replaces so the only way to tell the difference between an individual 'swingsound' ( i.e. Fullswng/Chipswng/Ironswng ) from one 'predefined.ssf' to another is to actually listen to the wav.

I would STRONGLY suggest that anyone who is replacing/testing a predefined.ssf keep a copy of the one being replaced in a separate folder labeled with which predefined.ssf it contains (i.e. "Original L2K3 predefined/German Soundfile-Team predefined/ChuckyB's predefined, etc.). This will allow the user to either restore the original predefined.ssf or allow them to switch between different predefined.ssf files for variety.

predefined.ssf (BladeSteve's Dec. 2006 version)   1.4MB (unzipped) - This predefined soundscript from UKtribute creator, includes the FULLSWNG stereo drive sound made ages ago from an Ernie Els drive on BBC TV , an interesting TREE2 sound heard when brushing trees and grass and a new effective FULLSWNG wav with a new crisp and solid sound....try it out.

predefined.ssf (German Soundfile-Team) 718K (unzipped) - For those who just can't stand the predefined sounds in the 2003 predefined.ssf, The GST has created a replacement with new wavs. To make this script truly unique, they have used an actual tee shot from Tiger Woods for the driver wav and the iron shot wav is from an Ernie Els shot from the fairway.

predefined.ssf (ChuckyB's version) 1.2MB (unzipped) - A lot of folks commented that the thing they liked most about the full soundscript,  ChuckyB's Golf Broadcast 2001, was the 'chunky' sound of the driver/woods.  I've replaced only the "chipswing", "fullswing" and "ironswing" wavs from the original Links 2003 predefined.ssf in this version.
